Why not get some friends together to host your own mini sports day. Sport is a great way to keep fit and have some fun. From egg and spoon to three legged races – it’s a great way to get friends together and raise important euro for Cappagh Hospital Foundation.
Camp or sleep out under the stars with friends in your backyard. Ask your friends to get sponsored to sleep out and donate the funds to your Cappagh Fundraising Hero page.
Have a dress up party and choose a theme, for example pick a colour, alphabet letters, countries or a masked ball and charge your friends an entrance fee. Let your imagination run wild while raising important funds for our work.
Challenge your friends, family, work colleagues or team mates to a challenge for Cappagh. Walk-a-thon – Walk laps of the park. Run-a-thon – Run laps of the neighbourhood. Skip-a-thon – Skipping laps of a park. Kick-a-thon – Kicking soccer goals at the park. Dance-a-thon – Set a number of songs you can dance to. Swim-a-thon – Swim laps of the pool.
If you don’t have a garage do not worry, you can sell pre-loved items pretty much anywhere. Set up a table outside your house, use the boot of a car or find and join a local neighbourhood centre’s garage day.
Collect your items, photograph and upload your sale items to gumtree, Facebook marketplace or another online sale platform.
We all love books so why not hold your own Kids Book Sale. Ask your friends to donate their old books. Then, invite kids from your neighbourhood over for a garage or yard sale tailored just for you!
Baking and selling cakes are a great way to raise money. Why not invite family and friends to pre-order so you know how many cakes you need to make to raise funds for your charity.
