Funding Needs

The National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh (NOHC) is synonymous with excellent patient care. In fact, the hospital has ranked number one in the National Patient Survey many years running.

To support this the Cappagh Hospital Foundation raises funds to provide the hospital with the equipment and tools they need to enhance the highest quality patient care.

Urgent Funding Needed:
New Paediatric Radiology Suite for Cappagh Kids Department
We are delighted to announce the National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh (NOHC) has secured HSE approval to commence building a new paediatric radiology suite in 2025. The new suite will include two new X ray rooms, an ultrasound room, treatment rooms, radiographer and radiology office spaces and an outpatient waiting area.

You will be aware of the long waiting lists for children seeking medical intervention for orthopaedic condition which can affect their mobility, balance, coordination and cause great discomfort, disability and chronic pain. With the new paediatric radiology suite, medical staff will be able to diagnose children faster to reduce waiting times for critical surgeries and interventions. This will in turn enhance the quality of life for more children and their families.

With your help, we can treat children faster!

While the HSE funding covers the construction of the new radiology suite, the Foundation has committed to fundraise €400,000 towards the internal fit out of the new building to make it fully operational and child-friendly. The fit out will include
Furniture, fittings and equipment for clinical and office spaces
Clinical and IT equipment
Child friendly spaces including entertainment and artwork, making a hospital stay less daunting for little ones

If you would like more information on how you or your company can get involved in this exciting project, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would love to hear from you.
