Finglas Men’s Shed support Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital patients & staff through Cappagh Hospital Foundation – A new community initiative!

2018 marks the 30th Anniversary of Cappagh Hospital Foundation (CHF)!

CHF have been working with local community groups, in particular the Finglas Men’s Shed to create a wider positive association and positive impact for the Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital (CNOH) patients and staff.

Finglas Men’s Shed have built 4 benches for patients and staff for the Hospitals front garden.

Angela Lee Deputy CEO of the Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital welcomed them as they delivered the first of 4 with Orla Gilroy, CEO CHF. The ‘Men’s Shed are deeply proud of this – in fact it is quite emotional as this is their first project!’ Some are past patients.

All 4 benches are now in place for the staff and patients to enjoy!
